Jesse Stephens is an engineer by education, and real estate developer by vocation. Nobody would confuse these industries for being "creative", but alas, life experience is what trains the human eye. The juxtaposition of constant analysis, human interaction, and obsession with locale leaves him with an eye for three things: mundane details that become intriguing in the abstract (structures), isolating the profundity of unique world destinations (places), and the human in its banal form (faces). Aside from building dramatic buildings, and making photographs, he plays string instruments and consensually punches other adults in the face for fun (Muay Thai and boxing).
